Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer NetherRealm Studios submitted Gameplay trailer of the fighting game Mortal Kombat 1. The two-minute video is dedicated to the return of a well-known character to the series.

We’re talking about Nitara, who hasn’t appeared in Mortal Kombat since Armageddon (2006). The fact that the heroine will be part of Mortal Kombat 1 was confirmed by the developers back in July, but a new version of the character was not shown until recently.
In addition to Nitara’s redesign, the new trailer reveals that actress and model Megan Fox will play her in Mortal Kombat 1. She not only gave the fighter a voice, but also an appearance.
Nitara herself is a vampire from the dark and desolate kingdom of Vaternus, fighting for her people. “She’s bad, but she’s nice too”Fox assures in the video.
In battle, use Nitara “his ferocious claws, razor-sharp fangs, and ability to fly”. In the gameplay trailer, you can see several of the vampire’s unique moves and their signature (and utterly gruesome) killing blow.
Meanwhile, Reddit user Rearisen has already snagged a copy of Mortal Kombat 1 for Switch and divided Screenshots with a list of the main and cameo fighters (see above). In his opinion, the speed of the game on the Nintendo console leaves a lot to be desired.
Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on September 19th on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. However, for Premium and Collector’s Edition owners, it will unlock on the 14th. On PC, the game will receive Denuvo protection.
