Media: new Silent Hill is being developed by Hideo Kojima’s studio together with Sony

Yesterday, October 1, it became known that Konami is developing several games, remakes and remasters of its popular Metal Gear, Castlevania and Silent Hill franchises at once. The VGC website has assured that the new part of the horror Silent Hill is being created by a well-known studio from Japan, but the sources did not disclose more details. Also, referring to its sources, the Japanese edition assured that Hideo Kojima’s studio is collaborating with Sony in this project. The details of the project were not specified. So far, the publisher has not commented on publications about new projects. The last big Silent Hill title was Downpour 2012, developed by Czech studio Vatra Games.

Rumors that Kojima was once again entrusted with Silent Hill have been circulating for a long time. Fans regularly find hints in photographs and posts from the famous game designer. Adding fuel to the fire and actor Norman Reedus, who played the main character in Death Stranding, and was also supposed to be the face of the canceled Silent Hills. He first appeared in the ending of the horror PT, created by Kojima’s team back in Konami.
