Fantasy RPG Baldur’s Gate 3 hasn’t received a major update since late November, but that’s about to change. Developers from Larian Studios shared the first details of the sixth major post-release patch.
As it became known, the sixth large-scale update for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released next week (from February 12 to 18) and, according to the developers, promises to be “impressive”.
A full list of fixes that the sixth major update will bring to Baldur’s Gate 3 will be published on the game’s official website closer to release, but for now the developers have revealed the main changes.
Apparently, the release of the patch will be timed to coincide with Valentine’s Day: “Love is in the air of Feyrun; We’ve made improvements to kissing your romantic partner!
In addition to improved “smack”users can expect new animations for idle characters in the camp, additional legendary actions in the “Valor” mode, and a number of bug fixes.
Baldur’s Gate 3 left early access on PC (Steam, GOG) in August 2023, and has since debuted on macOS, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The project has earned more than 200 awards in the Game of the Year category, including from the jury of The Game Awards 2023.
