Lexus’ flagship electric car will offer a range of around 700 km and solid-state batteries

A pair of electric crossovers are perfectly capable of getting along with the platform shared with the Toyota bZ4X. One of them will have a more streamlined silhouette, the other will certainly emphasize practicality due to the body shape that will increase the usable interior volume in the trunk area. In the current generation of Lexus RX, the problem of increasing the displacement is solved by “stretching” the sloping crossover silhouette, which is not a very elegant solution in terms of layout.

Lexus doesn’t say when all of the electric vehicles mentioned will be available, with the exception of the RZ 450e crossover, which is scheduled to go into series production this spring. The current prototype of the crossover with a more spacious body is also ready, on which the head of the Lexus brand made a test drive. It is possible for both crossovers to coexist in the same model family.
