Lenovo announced the launch of the second-generation ThinkPad X1 Fold convertible laptop with flexible display, which was launched in September 2022. The device is equipped with a 16.3-inch OLED touchscreen with a 4:3 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2560 × 2024 pixels and a peak brightness of 600 nits2 and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. It takes up the entire front work area of the laptop and folds in half.
The ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 offers business-focused 12th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processors (Alder Lake). Intel vPro Enterprise. The amount of LPDDR5 RAM can be up to 32GB. The laptop also comes with NVMe PCIe 4.0 storage up to 1TB. An optional Wacom digital pen is available for the laptop, which is attached to the housing using a magnet.
The convertible notebook is equipped with a 5 megapixel webcam, and there is also an IR camera for biometric authentication. The ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 offers Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro as the operating system.
