The updated Legion 5i Pro is powered by 12th generation Intel Alder Lake processors. The most advanced of the chips available in the new products is the Core i7-12700H. The Legion 5 Pro ships with the Ryzen 6000 processors that AMD previously introduced. Both computers offer users up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM running at up to 4800 MHz. The storage capacity can be up to 1 TB.

Lenovo has not announced the GPU models used in the new products, just said it will be the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30xx series. The specs show that at least one of the laptops is getting 8GB of graphics memory, suggesting a GeForce RTX 3070 or RTX 3070 Ti.

Lenovo said its flagship Legion laptops will feature the latest Coldfront 4.0 cooling system, which will be significantly quieter and more efficient at dissipating heat than the previous generation’s CO. This allows newer gaming laptops to run the GPU at high frequencies for longer.

The Legion 5 Pro and 5i Pro have a 16-inch IPS-WQHD + display with 240 Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The maximum screen brightness is 500 cd / m2. Dolby Vision support explained. A pair of 2-watt speakers are responsible for the sound reproduction.

Laptops are manufactured in housings made from a magnesium-aluminum alloy. You inherited the keyboard and trackpad from the 2021 models. Another improvement has been made to the wireless modules – new items support Wi-Fi 6E.

Lenovo Legion 5i Pro will go on sale in February starting at $ 1,570. Legion 5 Pro hits the market in April. The starting price of the laptop is $ 1430.

The cheaper Legion 5 and 5i are aimed at gamers who demand laptop portability. They offer a 15% thinner case than Pro notebooks. The Legion 5 will be shipped with AMD Ryzen 6000 processors, while the Ledion 5i will be equipped with Intel Core Alder Lake chips. You get 15.6-inch screens with a resolution of 1440p and NVIDIA GeForce graphics up to RTX 3060. Prices and availability of these devices have not yet been announced.
