343 Industries has announced that sci-fi shooter Halo Infinite will have five multiplayer maps at launch, but screenshots of other locations have surfaced on the web, which will be added to the game after release.
Recall that three of the promised five cards (Bazaar, Live Fire and Recharge) were present at closed testing. Two more (Behemoth and Fragmentation) are larger with support for 24 players for Big Team Battle.
Screenshots of unannounced maps contain warnings that development is still in progress and this is not their final look. One of the locations with the interior of the near future will offer a small arena. The other is presented in the night version. It also shows the frozen UNSC frigate in the sky, and on the ground – the Exiled anti-aircraft gun. This map will probably be designed for larger scale battles.
The third area appears to be a human settlement and is probably also designed with a large number of players in mind. The last image is a new screenshot of Behemoth.
Halo Infinite is due out on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S later this year.
