Leak: Death Stranding Director’s Edition comes to PC with XeSS scaling support

portal VideoCardz reported that he had received a copy of an as yet unpublished press release from Intel from an anonymous source, which, among other things, announced the expansion of the platform geography of the director’s version of Death Stranding.

As a reminder, Death Stranding Director’s Cut is an expanded and improved version of Kojima Productions’ courier campaign. The Director’s Cut has only been officially confirmed for PlayStation 5.

As announced from Intel’s announcement, Death Stranding Director’s Cut will also be released on the PC. The American manufacturer does not specify when exactly this will happen, but confirms one of the features of the upcoming release.

In particular, the PC version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut, along with unconfirmed games from 505 Games, IO Interactive, Techland, Ubisoft, Illfonic, PUBG Studios (and others), supports XeSS Smart Scaling.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut debuted on PS5 on September 24, 2021, while the base game is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and PS4. Previously, project sales exceeded 5 million copies.
