Leadtek has announced a WinFast GeForce RTX 4070 AI BLOWER 12G graphics card equipped with a tangential fan cooling system popularly known as “Turbine”. Apparently, the graphics card is not primarily intended for gaming, but for the workload associated with AI algorithms. Accelerators with similar cooling systems can be installed quite close together, allowing the maximum number of graphics cards to fit in one chassis.
Reference GPU specifications are announced for WinFast GeForce RTX 4070 AI BLOWER 12G. The base frequency of the AD104-250 chip with 5888 CUDA cores is 1920MHz, the boost frequency reaches 2475MHz. The card is equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory with a speed of 21 Gbps per pin and support for a 192-bit bus.
The graphics card is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 connection and three DisplayPort 1.4a. The novelty also received an 8-pin connector for additional power supply. Leadtek specifies a power consumption of 200 W for the graphics card and recommends using a 650 W power supply.
The dimensions of the graphics card are 265 × 111 × 38 mm. For the fan used as part of the cooling system, the manufacturer specifies a resource of 50,000 hours. The cooling system also includes an evaporation chamber.
