Laptops with Intel Meteor Lake processors will be slightly more expensive than models based on the current Raptor Lake

Various Western retailers have started adding updated laptop models from various manufacturers with new Intel Meteor Lake processors to their store databases. This was reported by an internet detective momomo_us, which discovered several new positions from Acer and ASUS. For a number of expected new products, sellers provided full technical specifications as well as prices that appear to be very competitive compared to the laptop models currently on sale.

Various sellers provide the most detailed characteristics for future Acer laptop models. For example, according to German retailers Baur and Otto, the manufacturer will offer updated models of Swift laptops among the most affordable options. For example, the basic version of the Acer Swift laptop (SFG14-72-56RD) is equipped with a Core Ultra 5 125H processor with a frequency of 3.3-4.5 GHz, 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 512 GB SSD. The new product will feature a 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels. And all for 999 euros.

The Acer Swift version (SFG14-72-7186) with a more powerful Core Ultra 7 155H with a frequency of 3.8 to 4.9 GHz, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and the same display is sold by sellers estimated at 1249 euros). Both laptops also claim a battery life of up to 11 hours. Compared to other Acer Swift models based on the current Raptor Lake series processors, the same retailers offer updated models with Meteor Lake chips at practically the same price.

Acer is also preparing updated models of the Predator Helios 18 (PH16-72) and Predator Helios 16 (PH16-72) gaming laptops.

These systems will be equipped with 14th generation Intel Core chips (Raptor Lake Refresh) of the HX series, GeForce RTX 4080 graphics cards with 12 GB of memory, receive 16 to 32 GB of RAM and solid-state drives with a capacity of 1 up to 12GB 2TB and will also be available with 16 and 18-inch screens that support WQXGA resolution (2560 × 1600 pixels) and a refresh rate of 240-250 Hz. The younger model gets a mini-LED backlit screen, while the 18-inch version uses an IPS matrix.

French retailer pc21.fr has added information about updated models of ASUS Zenbook laptops. These laptops offer Core Ultra 7 155U and Core Ultra 5 125U processors instead of H-series chips like the same models of the updated Acer Swift. All ASUS Zenbook models will receive 16GB RAM (probably LPDDR5X standard), 512GB or 1TB SSD. Four models of the updated ASUS Zenbook are equipped with 16-inch screens, one model gets a 13-inch display. According to various retailers, prices for these models range between 1,200 euros (US$1,300) and 1,850 euros (US$2,015).

ASUS is also preparing updated models of ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptops that will offer Core Ultra 9 185H processors and discrete GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. These laptops will be available in 16 (2×8) or 32 (2×16) GB LPDDR5X RAM configurations and will also feature 16-inch screens with support for 2560×1600 pixel resolution.
