The XL-FLASH technology is applied: the BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory microchips in the SLC version are used – one bit of information is stored in the cell. Compared to conventional NAND flash memory, XL-FLASH products have significantly lower latency (less than 5 μs reads) and higher data transfer rates.

Kioxia FL6 drives belong to the enterprise level. Capacities range from 800GB to 3.3TB. The exact speed indicators were not disclosed.

MTBF (mean time between failures) reaches 2.5 million hours. The devices are said to withstand up to 60 complete overwrites per day (DWPD value).

SED and FIPS 140-2 security standards are mentioned, among other things. Sample shipments of these solid state drives have already begun.
