Developers from the Czech Warhorse Studios are in no hurry to reveal plans for the continuation of the medieval role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but do not forget to celebrate its birthdays and share information about its successes.
The creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance are on their social networks remindedthat February 13, 2024 (that is, today) marks exactly six years since the original release of the game on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
On the occasion of the next anniversary, Kingdom Come: Deliverance pleased the authors with a new achievement – 6 million copies sold. This is 1 million more than the game had 17 months ago, at the end of June 2022.
“Happy KCD anniversary everyone! We are pleased to announce that Kingdom Come: Deliverance has surpassed 6 million sales. We wouldn’t be here without you, so THANK YOU so much!” — shared in Warhorse Studios.
The events of Kingdom Come take place in Bohemia at the beginning of the 15th century. The main character Henryk, the son of a blacksmith, finds himself drawn into the bloody whirlpool of the civil war. The game is distinguished by down-to-earthness, historical accuracy and realism.
Since the release, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has received five additions (Treasures of the Past, From the Ashes, The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon, Band of Bastards, A Woman’s Lot), which were included in the “royal” edition of the game.
Currently, the “royal” edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is preparing for release on Nintendo Switch. The release is expected in early 2024, and the port is being developed by Saber Interactive studio in collaboration with Warhorse.
