According to revelations for Vanity Fair, the creators of the Amazon Studios series based on the Fallout series have released post-apocalyptic role-playing games from Bethesda Softworks divided the show’s first full trailer.
We would like to remind you that the events of the Fallout series will take place in the year 2296 (219 years after the nuclear disaster) and the main characters will be Lucy, a native of Vault 33, Maximus, a newcomer to the Brotherhood of Steel, and the become bounty hunter ghoul.
The released video lasts two and a half minutes and shows the main and secondary characters (including Dogmeat), radioactive monsters such as Yao-Guy and Radroaches, as well as the moment when the bombs fall.
The teaser trailer features, among other things, the composition “I Don’t Want to See Tomorrow” by the American jazz artist Nat King Col, which premiered in 1964.
Viewers were thrilled by the first trailer for the Fallout series: in just over 24 hours, the video received almost 7 million views and over 157,000 likes (versus 12,000 dislikes) on YouTube.
Users pointed out the authenticity of the landscape and images. “Just like in the game”— speaks ohicebear. Fans praised the cast selection and expressed Cautious optimism: “Let’s hope they don’t screw it up.”.
The Fallout series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 12, 2024. The film stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten and Walton Goggins.
