‘Just buy a PS5!’: Final Fantasy XVI producer denies rumors of a PC version, but gamers aren’t convinced

Keep in mind that Final Fantasy XVI has been announced as being exclusive to PS5 from the moment it was announced. However, it was reported in the debut trailer that the game was also available on PC. The portal Eurogamer also claimed that the game will be released on PC six months after the release on PS5.

Yoshida says he doesn’t understand why people are talking about the PC version of Final Fantasy XVI since nobody on the development team or Square Enix has officially announced anything about it.

“Nobody has said a word about releasing a PC version. Why would she leave after six months? Don’t worry, just buy a PS5!” At this point, Yoshida laughed and apologized for being a bit pushy.

Final Fantasy XVI is expected to premiere on Playstation 5 on June 22nd. Yoshida wants fans to immerse themselves in the game as soon as possible as the development team has been hard at work on the release.
