Keep in mind that Final Fantasy XVI was announced for the PS5, but Square Enix highlighted the mention of PC in the first trailer. Eurogamer claimed that the game will be released on PC six months after the release on PS5 – the exclusivity is also calculated for the same period.

Producer Naoki Yoshida – the one who advised gamers to buy PS5 and not think about the rumors about the PC version – in an interview Japanese PlayStation Blog confirmed that Final Fantasy XVI will still be coming to PC, but not six months after PS5.

According to Yoshida, Square Enix has invested a lot of time and money optimizing Final Fantasy XVI for PS5 and won’t be able to port the project to PC in six months. The producer cannot name current release dates.

Final Fantasy XVI is expected to premiere on June 22nd on the PlayStation 5. Yoshida is sure of the date. Also in an interview polygon The producer explained that the broadcast of the game is possible only if “A meteorite will fall on Japan”.
