Remember that God of War is still only available on PS5 for backward compatibility, but with some improvements over PS4 and PS4 Pro: “Checkerboard” 4K and 60 fps in one mode.
For comparison, GameSpot used the aforementioned functionality of God of War on the PlayStation 5 and the maximum graphics settings in full 4K resolution on a PC.
As mentioned in GameSpot, the difference between God of War on PS5 and PC (in favor of the latter) is achieved by the increased quality of textures, dynamic fog and – most importantly – more shadows.
The PC version of God of War will be released on January 14th at 7:00 p.m. ET on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Western journalists have already appreciated the upcoming port and were more than satisfied with it.
