It looks like Stray’s Cat Adventures won’t be released early this year, but it will definitely be by the end.

Remember that the last time news about Stray was shared was in the summer of 2021. Then the BlueTwelve studio developers announced that the game’s release was pushed back to early 2022 to improve the quality of the game.

Now, seven months after that announcement and days before mid-March, Annapurna Interactive has confirmed that Stray is still scheduled for 2022. Around the beginning of the year, however, the publisher stopped stuttering.

Also Annapurna Interactive showed a screenshot of one of Stray’s internal builds staring at a real cat, as well informedthat players can knock over objects and “Scraping sofas contextually”.

Stray will be released on PC (Steam), PS4 and PS5. The events of the game take place on the streets and in the gates of a dying cybercity from which the protagonist, a lost and lonely stray cat, must escape.
