portal wccftech noted that modder Halk Hogan announced the release of the first version of the highly anticipated HD Reworked Project graphics mod for CD Projekt RED’s action RPG Cyberpunk 2077.

As with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the HD Reworked Project aims to increase texture resolution. In the Cyberpunk 2077 version, these are roads, terrain, dirt, vegetation, walls, and objects in Night City and the Wasteland.
Halk Hogan previously claimed that HD Reworked Project is well-optimized for Cyberpunk 2077 and doesn’t experience a performance hit once installed if there’s some free video memory.
As it became known, 400 MB of video memory is enough to run HD Reworked Project in Balanced mode, and Ultra Quality mode, which provides the highest quality textures (looks especially good in 4K and 1440p), takes about 800 MB.
You can download HD Reworked Project for Cyberpunk 2077 for free from the website Nexus Mods. Following this, Halk Hogan plans to return to work on the HD Reworked Project for an expanded version of the role-playing action film The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The audience valued Halk Hogan’s work at its true value (1200 likes for 30 dislikes). “It’s amazing that after so many years you keep improving your skills. Looks even better than you can imagine.”— accepted Killah Mate.
The HD Reworked Project mod for Cyberpunk 2077 has already been released, and Ray Tracing: Overdrive (official) mode with more advanced ray tracing is still in the pipeline. The update is expected later this year.
