iQOO U5e smartphone debuts with Dimensity 700 chip and dual camera for $210

Vivo has announced a mid-range iQOO U5e smartphone with a MediaTek processor and the OriginOS Ocean operating system based on Android 12. Orders for the novelty have already begun.

The device has a 6.51 inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a pixel density of 269 PPI (dots per inch). The dimensions of the device are 164 × 75.84 × 8.25 mm, weight – 193 g, headphone jack mm.

A waterdrop notch at the top of the screen houses an 8-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies. The dual rear camera received a 13-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro module and a flash. The fingerprint scanner is on the side.

A Dimensity 700 processor is installed, which contains eight cores with a frequency of up to 2.2 GHz, an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 graphics accelerator and a 5G modem. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging.

The iQOO U5e is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM versions for around $210 and $225, respectively.
