“Another key milestone for the 12th Gen Core processors: today we began shipping high-performance mobile chips to our customers. Congratulations to Intel employees around the world on this occasion and thank you for their hard work and dedication in creating this product. “– pointed out Bryant in his message.

The Alder Lake-P mobile processor series will be split into two subclasses. One will offer models in a configuration of two high-performance Golden Cove P-cores and up to eight energy-efficient Gracemont E-cores. The second category will feature more efficient solutions with a set of six P-cores and eight E-cores. Thus, the flagship Alder Lake-P models will be able to offer up to 14 cores with support for 20 virtual threads.

The official announcement of Alder Lake-P mobile processors and the first products based on them is expected at the international electronics show CES 2022, which will be held in January next year.
