The Alder Lake-P mobile processor series will be split into two subclasses. One will offer models in a configuration of two high-performance Golden Cove P-cores and up to eight energy-efficient Gracemont E-cores. The second category will feature more efficient solutions with a set of six P-cores and eight E-cores. Thus, the flagship Alder Lake-P models will be able to offer up to 14 cores with support for 20 virtual threads.
The official announcement of Alder Lake-P mobile processors and the first products based on them is expected at the international electronics show CES 2022, which will be held in January next year.
