Intel Raptor Lake will have 4 to 24 cores and use three versions of crystals

The Chinese tech blogger and insider Extreme Player, who previously published performance tests of various tech samples of future 13th Gen Intel Core processors saidwhich chip models will be included in the new Raptor Lake series, including those that are not expected to appear until next year.

According to Extreme Player, the Raptor Lake desktop chip series will include 14 processor models with four to 24 cores, supporting 8 to 32 virtual threads. According to the source, the new chips will use three versions of the chips. The full version will contain 8 powerful and 16 energy efficient cores. It is only used by Core i9-13900K, Core i9-13900KF, Core i9-13900 and Core i9-13900F models.

Models of processors with the “F” suffix are traditionally deprived of integrated graphics. Unfortunately, the Chinese leaker did not provide any information on the operating clock range of the Raptor Lake chips. However, he pointed out that chips without the “K” suffix will have a 1GHz lower base frequency than unlocked K-series models.

The Core i7 models will use a chip that has reduced the number of energy-efficient cores by half (to eight). Apparently some of the cores are simply disabled. Similar to the Core i9 models, these chips will come in four models, two of which have a claimed 65W TDP and are not overclocked.

Core i5 models are divided into K series with B0 stepping dies and non-K series with C0 stepping. According to another informant related to Portal VideoCardz, the latter will use the updated Alder Lake crystal.

Mid-range and entry-level Raptor Lake processors get 14, 10, or four physical cores. The slowest of them will be the Core i3-13100. Only four high-performance cores are obtained and not a single energy-efficient one.

There is a high probability that the manufacturer will also release new Pentium and Celeron entry-level models as part of the Raptor Lake series. You will also likely use Alder Lake crystals.
