Intel published tests of the Arc A750 graphics card in 48 games where it outperforms the GeForce RTX 3060

Intel shared information about the performance of the Arc A750 desktop graphics accelerator in several dozen games. The dates were released on the official site. On average, the graphics card was 3-5% faster than the GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card.

Intel published an article and video on its website noting the performance of the Arc A750 graphics card in games running on modern DirectX 12 and Vulkan graphics APIs. According to representatives of the company Ryan Shrout (Ryan Shrout) and Tom Petersen (Tom Petersen), the list of games to be tested included projects that were popular on Steam, interesting to gamers and used by video card reviewers.

Accelerator gaming tests were run at 1080p and 1440p resolutions. In DirectX 12 games at 1080p and ultra quality settings, the Intel graphics card was on average 3% faster than the GeForce RTX 3060, and in games at 1440p and high quality settings it showed a 5% advantage. Additionally, the Arc A750 delivered over 60 fps at 1440p in most select games.

The Intel graphics card also cuts a fine figure in games under Vulkan, for example in Rainbow Six Extraction, Dota 2 and Doom – its performance is on par with the competition. At the same time, performance at 1440p was slightly higher than that of the GeForce RTX 3060 and slightly lower at 1080p.

Intel is still not announcing the specifications of the Arc A750. Most likely, the accelerator is equipped with 24 Xe cores, 3072 shader units and 12 GB of GDDR6 memory with support for a 192-bit bus.

In comparison, Intel used the GeForce RTX 3060 XC Gaming from EVGA. This is one of the fastest versions of the GeForce RTX 3060 on the market. Its GPU runs at 1882 MHz. Both cards were tested on a 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-4800 (Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5-5200 CL38) Intel Core i9-12900K based PC. Tests were performed on Windows 11.

It should also be noted that the Arc A750 tests used a pre-release video driver, while the GeForce RTX 3060 used the GeForce 516.59 WHQL driver. As test reports of the Arc A380 entry-level graphics card show, the Intel driver for Arc graphics cards still needs serious revision.

Intel acknowledges that Arc graphics perform poorly in games on older graphics APIs, so DirectX 12 and Vulkan games were chosen for comparison only.
