Intel is removing mention of the release of Arc GPUs in the first quarter of 2022 from its website

At CES 2022, Intel spent most of its time showcasing Alder Lake’s desktop and mobile processors. Those who expected her to provide more details on future discrete Arc graphics cards were more likely to be disappointed. Basically, Intel only reported in standard formulations: “Already delivered to OEMs” and “Will go on sale in the first quarter of 2022”… After the conference it turned out that the second statement may not be true.

Portal reader VideoCardz noted that the mention of the release of arc accelerators in the first quarter of 2022 has disappeared from the Intel website. Now it is said that graphics cards are not expected until 2022.

You’d think that Intel made a mistake in one of the descriptions. However, information about the first quarter has disappeared from everyone talking about Arc graphics cards, suggesting an intended issue.

Intel’s release dates for Arc Alchemist graphics cards are currently confusing. After all, the manufacturer confirmed only a few days ago that the cards would hit the market in the first quarter of this year. However, changes to the Intel website actually refute this data.

During the presentation, Intel announced that computer manufacturers are preparing more than 50 mobile and desktop models with Intel Arc graphics. Prior to the presentation, there were rumors that Intel would only be releasing Arc mobile GPUs in the first quarter and desktop gaming graphics cards would not be released until the second quarter of this year. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not clarify this point at its most recent event.

During its conference, the company also announced a future VISion event, scheduled for May 10th. Based on the name of the event itself, it could have something to do with the introduction of arc graphics cards.
