Intel has released a driver with support for Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Forza Motorsport, as well as optimizations for DX11 games

Intel has released the beta version of the Arc & Iris Graphics driver It includes support for the new games Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Forza Motorsport. In addition, the manufacturer continues to work on optimizing its Arc graphics cards in games with the DirectX 11 API.

The new version of the driver significantly improves performance in a variety of popular DirectX 11 games compared to the previous driver version at 1080p and 1440p resolutions and high and very high image quality settings. The performance increase ranges from 5% (Naraka: Bladepoint) to 119% (Deus Ex: Human Revolution). The entire list of game optimizations can be found in the list below.

List of fixed issues:

  • EA Sports FC 24 (DX12) might crash unexpectedly during gameplay;
  • Characters in the game Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (DX12) had distorted textures;
  • in Starfield (DX12) isolated cases of reduced stability could be observed in some places;
  • Dying Light 2 Stay Human (DX12) may have color distortion issues;
  • Fortnite (DX12) could crash when Global Illumination setting was set to Lumen Epic;
  • Adobe After Effects may crash during rendering operations;
  • Some laptops with Intel Arc A series graphics cards may incorrectly display an inflated default frequency value.

List of known issues:

  • In Starfield (DX12), graphical distortion may occur when using dynamic resolution scaling. Workaround: Change the value of the resolution scaling slider.
  • in Starfield (DX12) distortions of the textures of certain objects and light sources can be observed;
  • In Minecraft (DX12), color distortion may occur in night scenes when the ray tracing setting is enabled.
  • In Halo Infinite (DX12), the application may crash in campaign mode on some system configurations.
  • In Dead by Daylight (DX11), the application may crash during gameplay;
  • Topaz Video AI may experience errors when using some video enhancement models.
