Intel has released a driver with support for Alan Wake II, Ghostrunner 2 and other new games

Intel has released the latest Arc & Iris Graphics driver package 31.0.101.4900 Beta. It includes support for Alan Wake II, Ghostrunner 2, Cities: Skylines II and WRC.

Intel found that the new beta version of the Arc & Iris graphics driver 31.0.101.4900 increased performance on Arc graphics cards by 22% compared to version 31.0.101.4887 in Alan Wake II (DX12) at 1080p resolution and high graphics settings . at 1440p resolution and medium image quality settings. In Cities: Skylines II (DX11), the new driver increased the performance of Arc graphics cards by 34% at 1080p resolution and high image quality settings and increased in-game performance by up to 26% at 1440p resolution and medium image quality settings.

List of known issues:

  • Ghostrunner 2 (DX11) may crash from time to time;
  • In the game Total War: Pharaoh (DX11), graphics distortion may occur after changing the resolution on some monitor models;
  • In Starfield (DX12), graphical distortion may occur when using dynamic resolution scaling. Workaround: Change the value of the resolution scaling slider.
  • The Halo Infinite (DX12) campaign may crash on some system configurations;
  • Crashes in the game Dead by Daylight (DX11);
  • Topaz Video AI may experience errors when using some video enhancement models.
