Intel Arc A750 MSRP drops to $249, performance increases 10-77%

Under competitive pressure from NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060, Intel has announced price cuts for its mid-range graphics cards. The manufacturer is dropping the MSRP of the Arc A750 to $249 in the US, $30 less than at launch. Price reductions will take place worldwide, but prices for other regions are not yet known.

Along with the price cut, Intel revealed the improvements offered by its driver number 4086 (although the latest driver is number 4091). With this driver, the Arc A750 graphics accelerator shows 10-77% higher performance – the graphics card can deliver much higher frame rates (FPS) compared to the launch versions of the drivers released a few months ago.

Intel claims that the Arc A750 now offers 52% more performance per dollar than the graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. These figures are provided by Intel and have to be confirmed by independent media. The GeForce RTX 3060 is now around $391, which is a lot more than the price of the Arc A750.

Most Intel Arc graphics cards are generally available at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), so you can expect the Arc A750 graphics cards to retail for $249 soon. Such competition will definitely force NVIDIA to pay more attention to the middle segment, which, unfortunately, has not been seen for a long time.

The new price announcement was also accompanied by the unveiling of a new gaming bundle: Select Intel Arc A-Series GPUs now come with free copies of The Settlers: New Allies and Nightingale.
