According to information obtained as part of a hacking hack, the next two major Call of Duty are codenamed Jupiter (2023, Sledgehammer Games) and Cerberus (2024, Treyarch).

It was assumed that the last release of Call of Duty of the console transition period would be Jupiter, but Activision’s documentation found references to versions for previous generation consoles (PS4, Xbox One) and in the case of Cerberus.

Information presented in Activision docs for three months since their leak (December 4, 2022) may be out of date and the company may reconsider plans to release Cerberus on PS4 and Xbox One, Henderson admits.

At the same time, Call of Duty games have been based on the same engine since 2019, and in the event of a merger between Activision Blizzard and Microsoft, the series is supposed to move to the Nintendo console – Switch is not very powerful.
