Inscryption’s villainous card game attracts 1 million players

Devolver Digital Publishing House on its official microblog shared information about new successes “Card Odyssey” Encryption by the independent studio Daniel Mullins Games (Pony Island, The Hex).

Recall that Inscryption sold over 100,000 copies in the first three days of its release (October 22nd) and a week later (October 28th) the game hit 250,000 copies.

Inscryption has been known to have sold more than 1 million copies in the past two and a half months since it was released. An ermine in the game shared his opinion on reaching a new high point of the project with one of the cards.

In the story of Inscryption, players fall into the trap of Leshy and find themselves forced to collect a game of cards with forest creatures in order to unravel the secrets that are hidden behind the walls of the sadistic alien hut.

Inscryption debuted on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) on October 19, 2021 and received decent press: the rating on the Metacritic aggregator’s website is 84 out of 100%, and the project received the maximum score from 3DNews.
