Inno3D introduces GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 versions with large air coolers and compact water blocks

Inno3D presented the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080 16GB and RTX 4080 12GB graphics cards in their own iChill Frostbite and iChill Black versions with liquid cooling water blocks, as well as iChill X3 and iChill X3OC with massive air cooling systems.

The manufacturer calls the flagship series iChill Frostbite. Graphics cards with this version are equipped with water blocks with a nickel-plated copper base and a transparent acrylic cover. The graphics cards turned out to be very compact in length, but still occupy two expansion slots.

Graphics cards in the iChill Black version are also equipped with LSS water blocks. However, the latter have a partially transparent top with an acrylic window. These graphics card models use shortened non-reference circuit boards.

Models in the iChill X3 and iChill X3OC versions received large air cooling systems, which include huge aluminum radiators with an evaporation chamber and nine heat pipes, as well as three 98mm fans. On iChill X3 models, one of them rotates in the opposite direction to the other two. The length of the GeForce RTX 4090 iChill X3 is 336 mm and the height is 145 mm. The novelty will occupy more than three expansion slots in the PC case.

All GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards introduced by Inno3D are equipped with rear reinforcement metal plates. Also, on all models, the presence of RGB lighting is indicated, which can be controlled using the popular applications Aura Sync, Mystic Light, Polychrome and RGB Fusion.
