Independent tests have confirmed the low autonomy of the Vision Pro – the headset is enough for a film

Apple’s claimed battery life for the Vision Pro AR headset is 2 hours for “general use” and 2.5 hours for video playback. Today reviews of the new product appeared on the Internet, and experts, among other things, checked Apple’s statements about autonomy – the company did not lie.

YouTube blogger Brian Tong reports that he tested the device by watching the 2019 blockbuster “Avengers: Endgame” for 181 minutes (3 hours and 1 minute), after which the headset’s battery still had a few percent left was loaded.

In his video test, Tong provides several indicators of the Apple Vision Pro’s battery performance:

  • 2 hours 26 minutes total usage;
  • 3 hours 9 minutes 3D video playback;
  • 1 hour 30 minutes for a full charge;
  • 30 minutes to charge from 0% to 37%.

What is disappointing is that the Apple Vision Pro has to be completely shut down and started up again when changing the battery. The blogger noted that the download process takes less than a minute. We also add that Vision Pro can be powered from an external power source. So if you use the headset without moving it, you can keep it on indefinitely.
