This was announced by the developer of the Windows 11 operating system “During extensive testing with user support” It has been found that disabling the Memory Integrity and Virtual Machine Platform (VMP) features can have a positive impact on game performance.

“Gamers who prioritize performance can turn these features off while gaming and then turn them back on when they end their gaming sessions. However, when these features are disabled, the system becomes vulnerable to cyber attacks.explains Microsoft.

The memory integrity function is responsible for controlling the installation of drivers. It verifies that the drivers are provided by a trusted party and do not contain malicious code. The VMP function, in turn, is necessary for the operation of virtual machines. Both features are native to Windows 11 operating system to better protect your system. At the same time, the company understands that users can customize their systems at their own discretion and according to their needs.

“Our system requirements for Windows 11 remain unchanged. We still recommend using these features enabled for the most effective PC security.”say the Windows developers.
