In Germany, versions of the original Risen have been issued an age rating for modern consoles

Gematsu Portal noticedthat there was a notice on the website of the German rating organization Entertainment Software Self-Control (USK) about expanding the list of target platforms for the fantasy role-playing game action Risen.

Keep in mind that the original Risen is a child of the penultimate generation of consoles, from which it has not yet escaped. However, the publisher THQ Nordic can prepare a remaster for modern systems.

According to information from the USK website, Risen received an age rating in Germany on July 19 of this year in versions for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. THQ Nordic is listed as the publisher.

The announcement is probably not far off: on August 12, THQ Nordic has scheduled an online show THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2022, where the company will share news about its projects (already presented and not yet).

Risen debuted on PC and Xbox 360 in October 2009. The role-playing game was developed by the German studio Piranha Bytes (Gothic, Elex series) and offered to determine the fate of Farang Island.
