Following yesterday’s announcement from Apple’s Wonderlust presentation, new details and screenshots of versions of the shooter Resident Evil Village and the remake of Resident Evil 4 for the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro smartphone have emerged.

How reported Capcom, in addition to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, both games can also be played on other Apple devices whose chip is not older than the M1:
- Resident Evil Village – iPad Air and iPad Pro. The game was released on macOS in October 2022;
- Resident Evil 4 Remake – iPad and Mac computers.
As for working on the iPhone 15 Pro, Resident Evil Village produces a stable 30 fps on the smartphone. No resolution indicators are given, but the quality of textures and image sharpness impressed the author of the portal IGN.
Axios journalist Stephen Totilo addedthat both games will receive a free prologue, support for gamepads, touch controls and progress transfer: Village – between iPhone and iPad and the remake – between iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Resident Evil 4 also supports universal purchases on iPhone, iPad and Mac, while Resident Evil Village only supports iPhone and iPad. The macOS version is considered a separate version by Capcom.
Universal purchases on the iPhone 15 Pro will also be the courier action game Death Stranding (in the Director’s Edition, by the way) and the action film Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Both will also be playable on iPad, and Death Stranding will also be playable on Mac.
Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 and Death Stranding will arrive on the iPhone 15 Pro before the end of 2023, while Assassin’s Creed Mirage will have to wait until early 2024. Running games on a smartphone is possible thanks to the Apple A17 Pro chip.
