“If only EA wouldn’t ruin the game”: The debut gameplay of the action game Wild Hearts gave gamers hope for a quality analogue of Monster Hunter

Remember that the events of Wild Hearts will take place in the feudal Japan-inspired fantasy world of Azuma, which is being terrorized by the once-peaceful giant Kemono creatures that have taken over the forces of nature.

The released seven-minute Wild Hearts video shows the fight against such a miracle of local nature – the giant boar Tsareklyk, which scatters the heroes in different directions with a wave of its massive tusks.

The protagonist sets out on his own to hunt down Kingfang, but quickly fails. When new participants and old karakuri technologies join the process, the team has a chance to win.

Normal users positively received the debut gameplay of Wild Hearts, noting the gameplay in the spirit of Monster Hunter, upbeat music and a variety of weapons. “If only EA hadn’t ruined the game, it looks promising”writes a viewer.

At the same time, the technical component of Wild Hearts still leaves a lot to be desired, the camera almost causes more problems than the monster, and you have to be extremely careful about the balance of the monsters (don’t overdo it).

Wild Hearts is expected to be released on February 17th, 2023 only for PC (Steam, Origin, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Prior to the September announcement, the game has been in development for four years.
