Chat on Instagram* Channels head of the Instagram platform* Adam Mosseri announced his intention to allow users of the social network to reply to posts with GIFs and animations in the comments.

Instagram* Channels is a feature launched earlier this year that is very similar to Channels on Telegram. Channels are only available on the Instagram mobile apps*and in order to be able to read them or be active, you must be a subscriber to that particular channel.
The new feature works the same as it does on Facebook* – The user can choose an answer using a GIF or search for a ready-made animated image in the Giphy service.
