Former Santa Monica Studio intern Jessica Mao saidthat her contribution to the development of God of War Ragnarok was deemed insufficient by studio management to earn her a place in the game’s credits. Possible minor spoilers.

During my time at the Santa Monica Studio (May through August 2021, according to the LinkedIn) Mao was involved in the music for two scenes from the opening section of the game – Freya chasing Kratos with Atreus and the fight against Thor.
