The first preview version of Harmony OS 3.0 for developers was presented to the general public at the annual Huawei Developer Conference 2021 in October last year. Now it has become known that the Chinese company is preparing to start the internal testing phase of the new version of the software platform, which is scheduled to launch in March this year.
This is confirmed by the information published on Huawei’s official website. According to available data, the manufacturer planned to test the operating system Harmony OS 3.0 from January to March. As February draws to a close and testing has not yet started, it is becoming increasingly clear that the process will begin in March.
It was also previously reported that the stable version of Harmony OS 2.0 will be available to users outside of China in early 2022. According to the manufacturer, smartphones with Harmony OS work 10% faster than their Android counterparts. By the end of 2021, Harmony OS had over 100 million users in China. Apparently, Harmony OS 2.0 will soon be available to users outside of China, and testing of Harmony OS 3.0 will begin in the domestic market.
