Huawei introduced the updated MateBook D14 and MateBook D16 laptops based on Intel Raptor Lake processors, and also announced a new flagship series of Smart Screen S3 Pro TVs.

The updated MateBook D14 and MateBook D16 laptops offer 14- and 16-inch IPS screens, respectively, with a 16:10 aspect ratio and support for a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels. The 14-inch model offers a choice between a 12-core Core i5-1340P up to 4.6 GHz and a 12-core Core i7-1360P up to 5.0 GHz. The older 16-inch model can offer up to a 14-core Core i9-13900H with a frequency of up to 5.4 GHz.
Both laptops received 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offer up to 1 TB of solid state drives. The Windows 11 Home operating system runs on the laptops. The MateBook D14 2023 model is equipped with a 56 Wh battery. The larger version received a 60 Wh battery. Both laptops come with a 65W power adapter.
The Huawei MateBook D14 2023 starts at CNY5,099 ($742) for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model. In the maximum configuration with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, the novelty costs 6,099 yuan (888 US dollars). The MateBook D16 2023 starts at 5699 ($830) for the 16GB RAM version with 1TB SSD. The version with the Core i9 processor cost 7,199 yuan ($1,048). New product sales will begin on April 26th.
Huawei’s latest S-series smart TVs come in 65-inch and 75-inch sizes. Both models support 3840 x 2160 pixels and have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which can be boosted up to 240 Hz in gaming mode. For screens of new products, 92 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and brightness of up to 400 cd/m2 are specified.
TVs run on the HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system, receive 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space. The new external connections include three HDMI 2.1, an AV input, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 and a LAN port.
The 65-inch Smart Screen S3 Pro TV is priced at 5,999 yuan ($873) and the 75-inch model is 7,999 yuan ($1,164).
