Huawei today at the Huawei Summer 2022 Smart Office presented the MatePad Pro 11 tablet with an 11-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels (pixel density – 274 ppi), a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an aspect ratio of 16 :10.
The 10-bit color detail display is factory color calibrated with an accuracy of deltaE < 1 and a 1440 Hz high frequency PWM dimming control. It is the first tablet to receive TÜV Rheinland's new Full Care Display 3.0 certification.
The tablet comes with a 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor up to 2.84GHz or a 7nm Snapdragon 870 octa-core chip up to 3.2GHz (selected markets) to be available. On board are 8 or 12 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128, 256 or 512 GB. Wireless connection is provided via Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 adapter, there is a possibility to install a 4G modem.
The MatePad Pro 11 delivers cinema sound with two tweeters and four woofers.
On the rear is a dual-camera setup with a 13MP main sensor with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a fixed focus (f/2.2). The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The 8300 mAh battery offers up to 11.5 hours of video playback. The Snapdragon 888 model supports Huawei’s 66W SuperCharge, but comes with a 40W charger. The Snapdragon 870 model supports 40W charging and comes with a 22.5W adapter. The tablet is 4.9mm thick and weighs 449g.
The tablet is compatible with the second generation M-Pencil stylus and the new detachable Smart Magnetic keyboard.
The tablet will go on sale on August 27th. The Huawei MatePad Pro 11 8/128 GB base model costs 3,300 yuan (around 483 euros). The MatePad Pro 11 12/512 GB model with M-Pencil stylus and keyboard is available on the online marketplace Vmall for 7,700 yuan (around 1,127 euros). It is reported that the 512GB flash model will not be available in all regions of the world.
