Huawei MateBook 16 laptop with AMD Ryzen 5000 chip entered the world market at a price of 1100 euros

Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei has announced its new MateBook 16 portable computer to the global market. The device is based on the AMD hardware platform.

Depending on the modification, a Ryzen 5 5600H or Ryzen 7 5800H processor is used. The first of these chips contains six cores with a frequency of up to 4.2 GHz, the second – eight cores with a frequency of up to 4.4 GHz. In both cases, multithreading technology is supported.

The laptop is equipped with a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2520 × 1680 pixels. A narrow bezel IPS panel with an aspect ratio of 3: 2 is used. In the keyboard area there is a webcam with support for 720p video.

The equipment includes 16GB of RAM and a fast 512GB NVMe SSD. There are Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapters.

The notebook is equipped with an HDMI interface and a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. There are two USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports. The audio system contains stereo speakers with a power of 2 W each. A fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button for identifying users by fingerprints.

The Huawei MateBook 16 can be purchased for an estimated price of 1,100 euros.
