As you can see in the concept renderings, the multi-module block is made in the form of a ring, in the upper, left and right parts of which there are optical components with image sensors. There is a dual LED flash on the bottom.
The central part of the ring is reserved for a circular color display. It performs the functions of a viewfinder when taking photos or videos.
The proposed system is designed to 3D scan the user’s face to assess the structure of the skin. In particular, information about the condition of the pores, color tone, redness, acne, wrinkles, areas around the eyes, etc. can be recorded. The associated software will analyze the data collected and will be able to make recommendations to improve the condition of the facial skin.
The system will be able to perform traditional shooting. However, the development only exists in patent documents. Huawei does not announce any plans to bring it to the commercial market.
