HP presented its flagship with Chrome OS, the Elite Dragonfly Chromebook, at CES 2022.
The laptop is based on the Intel Alder Lake platform with a twelfth generation core processor and Iris-Xe graphics. The volume of the LPDDR4x-RAM reaches 32 GB, the capacity of the solid state drive is 512 GB.
The novelty has a changeable design. A touch-sensitive 13.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1280 or 2256 × 1504 pixels is used. You can interact with the panel with a special pen. The cover with the screen can be rotated 360 degrees and transforms a laptop into a tablet. The display is protected from damage by the durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
For the first time in the Chromebook category, a touchpad with tactile feedback is used. In addition, Intel Evo and vPro certified for the first time.
Features include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters, a backlit keyboard, microSD slot, four speakers, USB Type C (Thunderbolt 4), USB Type A (3.2 Gen 2) and HDMI interfaces.
Support for 5G cellular networks can be implemented as an option. The dimensions are 294.5 x 221.85 x 16.6 mm. The novelty will go on sale at a price of $ 999.
