Publisher Digerati and developer of Indonesian studio Digital Happiness announced the forthcoming expansion of the platform geography of their terror with survival elements DreadOut 2.
Remember that DreadOut 2 debuted exclusively on PC (Steam) back in February 2020 and is now being carried over to the current Xbox and PlayStation consoles thanks to the support of Digerati.
As has been revealed, DreadOut 2 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S will be available on July 15th this year, and versions for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will be released on July 20th. The console version costs $20.
DreadOut 2 takes place in a sleepy town in the east. Players take on the role of the high school student Linda, known from the first part, to hunt ghosts with the camera of her smartphone (as in Fatal Frame).
The developers call the main features of the sequel the ability to attack enemies with an axe, knife and other weapons, non-linearity and secondary activities, social satire and an entourage inspired by Indonesian folklore.
