“Tatiana appears in Igor’s dreams and encourages him to visit different places in the Chernobyl zone and learn the true story of Chernobyl.”– so the developers themselves describe the end-to-end plot of the tasks.

Another update added a roguelike mode to the game where the main character can get to the base through a virtual reality helmet. Wearing a helmet, Igor finds himself in a fractal world where he must face enemies (humans and monsters) in multiple arenas, each of which is progressively more difficult.

A paid mini-add-on Red Trees (“Red Trees”) was also released for Chernobylite, which allows you to change the appearance of the player base. The authors claim that the rusty leaves and red glow emanate from the devices “Fill the hearts of the satellites with warmth and strength for another tough day in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone”.

Chernobylite is available for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
