Horror about the horrors of World War I Ad Infinitum will not see the light of day on April 20 – its release has been pushed back to September

Developers from the German studio Hekate, together with the Nacon publishing house, have shown a new trailer for their survival horror game Ad Infinitum. As part of the Nacon Connect 2023 broadcast, a gameplay video was shown announcing the postponement of the release.

In the middle of last year, the authors of Ad Infinitum promised to release the horror on April 20, 2023, but in the latest video we’re already talking about September, without an exact date. The trailer draws the viewer’s attention to certain gameplay features of the project, including exploring the main location.

The protagonist of Ad Infinitum, a young German soldier, slowly walks through an abandoned mansion in Berlin (this is the key location), encountering monsters in the other world and trying his best to stay sane.

With the implementation of the last point, the protagonist will have obvious problems, as the surreal horrors of the First World War will periodically remind himself as the game progresses.

Ad Infinitum is coming to PCsteam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Last year, the authors still indicated PS4 and Xbox One as target platforms, but they are not mentioned in the latest trailer (as well as in the description on YouTube).
