Honor today unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the Magic V, which is also the company’s first flagship chipset-based device since it split from Huawei. Together with the smartphone, the Chinese company presented the GS 3, a new premium smartwatch.
The body of the novelty is made of low-carbon stainless steel. The display is covered with curved tempered glass. The watch weighs 44 grams and is 10.5 mm thick. The novelty uses a round 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and a density of 326 dpi. The device’s battery has a capacity of 451 mAh, which is sufficient for a battery life of up to 14 days. If the GPS is switched on, this time is reduced to 30 hours. Five minutes of charging time is enough for a full day of use.
The novelty is equipped with an 8-channel heart rate sensor. According to the manufacturer, it offers a measurement accuracy of up to 97%. The watch also supports 24/7 blood oxygen and sleep monitoring with over 200 tips to improve your night’s sleep.
The Honor Watch GS 3 offers users an advanced navigation experience with support for location systems such as GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and NAVIC. The device offers support for over 100 sport modes, ten of which are aimed at professional athletes.
The novelty is operated by LiteOS. Its heart is the Apollo4 chipset. The user has 4 GB of internal storage available. The device offers NFC support for contactless payment and a water resistance of 5 ATM.
The Honor Watch GS 3 will be available in Racing Pioneer Silver, Gold and Black. The first two versions offer the user a leather strap while the black watch has it made of rubber. The silver and gold watches will retail for $ 235 while the black version will cost $ 205.
