Honor introduces Magic5 Lite smartphone with Snapdragon 695 and OLED display

In addition to the flagship smartphones Magic5 Pro and Magic5, Honor presented the cheaper Magic 5 Lite model at MWC 2023. The novelty has a minimalist design with a curved display and a round rear camera module.

The Honor Magic5 Lite sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth support. The maximum screen brightness is 800 cd/m²2.

The smartphone is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.2 GHz, an Adreno 619 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X51 5G cellular modem. The chipset is complemented by 6 GB of RAM with a 128 GB flash drive.

On the rear is a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the Magic 5 Lite has a 16-megapixel front camera.

It is powered by a built-in 5100mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging. Device specs also include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone runs Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12 ex works. An in-display fingerprint scanner is used for unlocking.

The Honor Magic5 Lite is available for pre-order now and will ship in early March for €379 in Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Titanium Silver.
