Honor introduced the Watch 4 Pro smartwatch with eSIM support

Honor has introduced the Smartwatch Watch 4 Pro. The new product with a classic round shape runs on the MagicOS 7.2 operating system and is housed in a steel case with a matte finish.

The Honor Watch 4 Pro features a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 464 × 464 pixels and a pixel density of 310 PPI. The new product features eSIM support, Bluetooth 5.2 and is compatible with devices running Android 9 and above and iOS 11 and above.

The Honor Watch 4 Pro is powered by the UNISOC W117 processor. The watch received 64 MB of RAM and 4 GB of permanent memory. The device is equipped with an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a geosensor, an optical sensor for heart rate monitoring, an ambient light sensor and an air pressure sensor.

The new product offers support for more than 6,000 watch faces, has water resistance protection of up to 5 ATM, supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, Beidou, QZSS and is also equipped with an NFC module. The watch is compatible with Honor’s proprietary health monitoring application and can monitor stress levels, blood oxygen saturation and sleep.

The watch is equipped with a 480mAh battery that supports 4.5W wireless charging. They claim a battery life of up to 10 days. In eSIM mode, the new product can work without being tied to a smartphone. The dimensions of the Honor Watch 4 Pro smartwatch are 46.4 × 46.4 × 11.4 mm, the weight is 50 g.

The Honor Watch 4 Pro smartwatch will go on sale in China on October 16th. The new product will be available in three colors: dark green and brown with leather straps and black with a plastic strap. Pre-orders for the device are already being accepted. The plastic strap version costs 1,599 yuan (approximately US$218), while the leather strap version costs 1,799 yuan (US$249).
