Honor has introduced the mid-range Magic6 Lite smartphone, which is expected to be the cheapest member of the Magic6 series. The new product is based on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, features an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, a 108 MP main camera and a capacious battery.

Honor has started launching the Magic6 series less than a year after launching the first Magic5 models. As “firstborn” Magic6 Lite was introduced as a new line, broadly following the design of its predecessor. For example, the display, which is curved at the edges like the Magic5 Lite, was retained, as was the camera design and the thin frame.

However, Honor replaced the Snapdragon 695 5G processor in the new model with a more modern Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage. Honor uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2652 × 1200 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The predecessor had a 0.11 inch smaller screen with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The device is equipped with a 5300mAh battery that supports 35W wired charging. Magic6 Lite received a battery with a slightly larger capacity than its predecessor (5100 mAh).

As for the camera, the Magic6 Lite has a 108-megapixel main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, which is a further improvement compared to the Magic5 lite camera, which has a 64-megapixel sensor and optics with an f/1.8 aperture. However, nothing has changed in terms of the additional cameras: a 5-megapixel wide-angle module and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The 16-megapixel front camera also remains the same

The Honor Magic6 Lite is expected to launch on December 27th in Emerald Green, Midnight Black and Sunshine Orange colors. Although the company hasn’t revealed pricing information yet, it has already listed the smartphone on its Italian website. So we can assume that Europe will be one of the first markets where the Magic6 Lite will appear.
