Back in June, Honor unveiled the almost flagship Honor 50 series smartphones in the Chinese market. The devices received a productive mid-range chipset, OLED matrices with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and advanced 108-megapixel main cameras. The company has now announced the date for the devices to enter the global market.
The Honor 50 will officially go on sale in the European market on October 26th. The company has confirmed that the smartphones will debut in the UK and some European countries. It is important to note that versions of devices for the European market will be able to boast of support for Google services, which will allow them to compete on equal terms with counterparts from other manufacturers. The Honor 50 starts at $ 419 in China for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The European price of the smartphone is expected to be similar.
The Honor 50 features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a 32MP front camera and a main quad camera with a main 108MP sensor, which is supplemented by one 8MP and two 2MP sensors. The hardware platform is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, which works in conjunction with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The storage capacity can be 128 or 256 GB. The smartphone is equipped with a 4300mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The device runs Android 11 with MagicUI 4.2 shell.
